One-On-One Massage Therapy That Helps You Feel at Ease Again

Massage therapy offers time to relax when your muscles feel tight, your shoulders are tense, or a busy schedule has left you feeling worn out. Whether your days are spent sitting, standing, or moving, our registered massage therapists will listen to what you are noticing and shape each session around what your body needs.

What Is Massage Therapy?

Massage therapy is a hands-on treatment in which a registered massage therapist works with the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles and connective tissue. Each session is tailored to your needs, with pressure, treatment areas and pace adjusted according to your comfort and preferences.

Many people book a massage when tension builds in the neck, back, or shoulders, or when they simply want an hour to slow down. Your therapist will check in throughout the session to ensure the pressure and techniques remain comfortable for you. If you prefer firmer pressure, our Deep Tissue Massage may be a better fit.

How Tension Shows Up

Muscle tension can develop gradually and may become noticeable during everyday activities such as:

  • Your neck and shoulders feel tight by the end of the workday.
  • Your lower back feels stiff after sitting, standing, or driving for a long stretch.
  • You notice tension in your jaw, shoulders, or upper back, particularly during stressful periods.
  • Your muscles feel sore after a new workout routine or a physically demanding job.
  • Your body feels restless or wound up at the end of a long day.
  • You find it difficult to make time for rest and self-care.

If these experiences sound familiar, massage therapy may help ease muscle tension and provide an opporunity to relax.

How We Help

We tailor each massage session to your needs, whether you’re experiencing upper back tension or muscle soreness or simply want time to relax. Your therapist will ask a few questions, listen to your answers, and adjust the pressure, pace, and areas of focus as you go.

Our team is made up of two registered massage therapists. Paidamoyo Chinzvende, RMT, is the owner of the clinic, and Hazel Opena, RMT, is the newest therapist and is available evenings and weekends.

If you would like to try something different, you can explore our Deep Tissue Massage and the rest of our treatments on the Services page.

FAQs

Many people find massage a relaxing way to care for tight or tired muscles, although responses differ from person to person. Your therapist will ask about what you are feeling and adjust the pressure and areas of focus to suit you.

You do not need a specific reason or an injury to book. If you would like some time to relax, or you are noticing tension in your neck, back or shoulders, a session may be a good fit. If you have a medical concern or are unsure whether massage is right for you, you are welcome to check with your health care provider first.

Massage Therapy is available in 60, 75, 90 and 120 minute sessions, so you can choose the length that feels right. If you are unsure, a 60 minute session at $140 is a comfortable place to begin, and you can choose a longer one next time.
